I'm Rakesh — DJ RKay, a multilingual DJ based in Sammamish on the Seattle Eastside. I play across Capitol Hill, Downtown, South Lake Union, Belltown, Queen Anne, Ballard, Fremont, West Seattle, Columbia City, Rainier Valley, Northgate and the U District, and the whole approach is the same wherever the party is: read the room, blend the languages, and never let the floor empty out.

Booking a DJ in Seattle
Do you cover Seattle?
Yes — Seattle is in the core service area. I'm based in Sammamish, and there's no travel fee anywhere within about an hour of Bellevue, which includes Seattle and the rest of King County.
What does a Seattle booking cost?
It depends on hours, guest count, venue size and whether you need sound and lighting or just a DJ on the house system. Send me the date, venue and guest count and you'll get an exact number.
How far ahead should I book?
Weddings: 6–12 months, especially summer Saturdays. Birthdays, anniversaries and house parties: 2–6 weeks. Diwali, Navratri and New Year's Eve go early every year.
We have a mixed crowd — can you handle multiple languages?
That's most of what I do. Telugu and Tamil, Hindi and Punjabi, Malayalam and Kannada, plus English EDM and Top 40 for everyone else — structured so each group gets their block without the floor emptying between them.
Can you MC the announcements?
Yes — grand entrance, cake cutting, speeches, games and cultural segments, in English or Hindi. If you have a planner, I work off their timeline.
